Contact UsMeet Adam
Adam Baldwin is the Founder and CEO of GrayRock Ready Mix, bringing a strong background in military leadership, entrepreneurship and concrete production. A Michigan native, Adam began learning the concrete industry as a teenager while working at his uncle’s plant. He later served 11 years in the United States Marine Corps as a Marine Special Operations Raider, completing multiple combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. Following his military service, he continued working overseas as a security operator for the U.S. State Department.
After transitioning into the private sector, Adam founded several successful businesses, including TreeCraft LLC, which became one of Eastern North Carolina’s leading tree service companies. Under his leadership, TreeCraft achieved seven-figure revenue growth, earned two nationally recognized Quality Business Awards and was successfully sold in April 2025.
Returning to his roots in concrete production, Adam gained additional hands-on experience as a plant manager and driver for a national ready-mix company. Today, he combines that industry knowledge with proven business leadership to guide GrayRock Ready Mix. Alongside a team of experienced concrete professionals, Adam is focused on building a company known for quality, dependable service and strong customer relationships.
